Julian Saliani works on media data sets to support Harmony Institute's research. He has a background in environmental engineering and received his MSE and BS from Johns Hopkins University's Department of Geographical and Environmental Engineering, as well as spending two years as a data research analyst in the Guikema Research Group. Julian's past research includes analyzing hurricane effects on Caribbean island systems, relationships between environment and government formation, and simulations to mitigate food deserts in Baltimore. He recently retired from running some 3,000 miles per year, after running track and field in high school and at Johns Hopkins. Now he practices hip-hop dancing, biking along the Hudson River, and basketball. He is also a podcast enthusiast, avid tea drinker, and subscriber to many YouTube channels.
